SHI Cryogenics Group Hosts Reception for Attendees at the 2014 Applied Superconductivity Conference

During the week of August 11th, the SHI Cryogenics Group exhibited at the 2014 Applied Superconductivity Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.  In addition to the successful exhibit, over 250 guests attended a cocktail reception hosted by SHI on Wednesday evening, August 13th. 

The Mint Museum Uptown at the Levine Center for the Arts played host to the event.  Guests dined on local cuisine, including root beer braised short ribs, Hendersonville apple bars and “Dragon’s Breath” – blood orange meringue bites poached in liquid nitrogen, while enjoying views of uptown Charlotte from the museum’s 5th floor Grand Room and Terrace.

In addition to a wide selection of food and drinks, guests had the opportunity to enter a raffle for one of three great prizes:  an Apple TV, Bose noise-cancelling headphones, or an iPad Air.
