Chie Okamoto
General Manager of the Cryogenics Division, Precision Equipment Group
Ms. Okamoto was named General Manager of SHI’s Precision Equipment Group in January 2023. She has spent her career with SHI and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position. Beginning as a member of the Corporate Purchasing Department in 1991, she moved to the Cryogenics Division in 1997. There, she was a long-time Marketing and Sales Department member, eventually becoming General Manager. In 2019, she was named General Manager of the Cryogenics Division’s Planning and Control Department, where she remained until her recent promotion to lead the SHI Cryogenics Group.
